I was hungry so I got a slice of pizza and a spaghetti bolognese along with some garlic knots. Pizza was great - I'll talk about it another time though. Let's deep dive on the place and pasta and why it was so great:
1. Ambiance - usually I don't rate this but when I walked in it was a small place with a few tables and booths and a small counter where they have pizza available by the slice - very unassuming very low key. As a result no crowds and extremely friendly staff
2. Pasta: normally the spaghetti bolognese comes with spaghetti... but they let you choose your pasta and I chose fettuccini, came out perfectly al dente and I personally like my pasta to have a little extra surface area to pickup the sauce
3. The sauce: many Italian spots / pasta joints I've been recently make their sauce super zesty and almost sour but this sauce was super savory, excellent taste of tomato without being sour. Pairing that with the all beef meat which was flavorful on it's own was a total recipe for success, you can bet I used the bread to wipe my plate clean at the end
